Several other Biopharmas are in play today:
1) Sepracor (SEPR) - this company has several well known drugs already (Lunesta, Allegra and Clarinex). The stock is up almost 2% after beating on earnings and raising their outlook. Sepracor was up more than 5% this morning, but has fallen back as the day continues. The stock is currently in a trading range between $14 and $18.
2) Rigel Pharam is down $1.30 (11.25%) after announcing that a arthritis drug test did not go as well as expected.
3) Keryx Biopharma is up 4.5%.
The lesson here is that these stocks are incredibly volatile. When you get a good profit, do not be afraid to take it. Otherwise you risk the next news story driving the stock down below your buy point in a heartbeat. In that spirit, we took our profit in SQNM today.
