Late Day Sell Off

In a change from its normal pattern, the market rose most of the day and then sold off in the last hour. The Dow still finished up more than 80 points, so this is by no means a big deal.

Also, the S&P 500 tried to go through 1,000 today and failed to do so. I'm not surprised that it failed on its first try.

If the market has another couple of days of rising in the morning and selling off late, I will get concerned. Otherwise, this appears to me to be brief pause in strong rally. We may get another couple of days of sideways trading here.
